About the Nice FLO1

This single-button blue fob is Nice’s fixed-code FLO1, which sets its code with ten tiny switches inside the case that must match the same pattern on the receiver. It works with Nice’s FLOX, SMXI and OXI/OX2 receiver ranges, though not with the rolling-code FLOX*R versions, and it’s been succeeded by the two-button FLO2.

Look on the label or the back of the remote for:

What it looks like: A blue fob with a single blue button and a red light.

Don’t mix it up: It shares its case with the rolling-code FLO1R-S, FLO2R-S and FLO4R-S, so the only sure way to tell them apart is to open the case and check for the internal switches, which those versions don’t have.

Seen it cheaper somewhere else?

Check it’s the genuine Nice remote. Many cheaper listings are copies or “compatible” remotes, not the manufacturer’s own. A genuine Nice remote has the Nice name on it, usually on the front or on the label on the back, along with the model name. With a fixed-code system a copy can sometimes work, but it isn’t the manufacturer’s remote and quality varies, so check the listing says genuine and the photos show the Nice name.
